Ed Weisiger, Jr.
President, CEO - CTE
Ed Weisiger, Jr., is President and CEO of CTE. He began his career at CTE in 1987 and in 1988 became General Manager of Carolina CAT’s Engine Division before becoming President and CEO in 1991. His responsibilities include overseeing the company’s four divisions, corporate strategy and customer service culture.
Ed is involved in several business organizations such as: CATO Corporation (Board of Directors); CEO Organization (Member and Chair of the annual CEO Harvard Presidents’ Seminar); Young Presidents’ Organization (Member and Past Chapter Chairman); Charlotte Chamber of Commerce (Past Chairman); Southeast Caterpillar Dealer Association (Past President); North Carolina Chamber (Past Director); and NC State Engineering Foundation (Past Director).
He is also very community-minded and gives back in many ways, such as: Myers Park Presbyterian Church (Elder); Catawba Thread Trail (Director); Central Piedmont Community College President’s Council (Member), Bechtler Museum (Advisory Board Member) and has previously served on the boards of several educational institutions and non-profit organizations.
Ed holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from NC State University and an MBA from the Harvard University Graduate School of Business.

President - LiftOne
Mark has spent most of his 25+ year career in the Material Handling business. He started at a young age working for a small lift truck dealership in Michigan and worked in many areas of the business including time as a technician prior to attending college at Michigan State University. Before returning to the Material Handling business after college he worked for a large company in Chicago in the Finance department. Mark returned to the Material Handling industry with Mid-State Industrial and purchased it from the owner in 1998. After 12 years of running a high performing Hyster dealership in Michigan and Indiana he sold his business and joined Barloworld Handling in 2010. In 2012 he assisted in the acquisition of Barloworld and the transition to LiftOne. He worked as the VP of the South Region and the VP of Operations before succeeding Bill Ryan and becoming President of LiftOne in 2017.
Mark has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Michigan State University.

Vice President, General Manager - Construction
Mike Joined CTE as a Machine Sales Manager in 2011. Since then, Mike has held leadership roles of increasing responsibility across the Construction Division, including leading the Product Support organization. Mike began his career as an Industry Representative at Caterpillar Inc., and worked for Ring Power as CAT Rental Store Sales Manager prior to joining CTE.
Mike has a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from North Carolina State University and an MBA from the University of Florida.

Senior Vice President, General Manager - Carolina Cat Power Systems Division
Mike Brown has worked with Caterpillar and associated Caterpillar dealers for 26 years. He joined CTE in 1994, began serving as Vice President in 2000, and was promoted to Senior Vice President in 2007. In addition to his duties as a member of senior staff, he is the General Manager of the Power Systems Division. Those responsibilities include overseeing the daily operations of Personnel, Operations, Development, Strategic Planning and Financial Management for both the Commercial and Truck departments.
Mike has had extensive experience with sales operations, sales management, rental operations, project management, service department management, parts operations and accounting. He graduated in 1978 with a B.S. in Business, and completed management programs from the Bell Institute for Leadership, Olan Hendrix School of Management, and the Sloan School of Management at MIT. Mike also holds a Dale Carnegie Certificate in Sales Management. Additionally, he completed courses in accounting and project management from the association of San Diego and Santa Clara Community College; studies also included courses in construction law and construction law for sub-contractors.

Vice President, General Manager - Pinnacle Cranes
Jim Mackinson leads as the Vice President and General Manager of Pinnacle Cranes. Jim brings over 28 years of industry experience to his new position at Pinnacle Cranes, most recently as President and CEO of Mackinson Crane and Equipco Sales and Rental Corporation, located in Middlesex and Somerville, N.J., respectively.
Jim participates in several crane industry associations; including, the Specialized Carriers and Rigging Association, Associated Equipment Distributors, and the Utility and Transportation Contractor’s Association.
Jim is a graduate of the College of Holy Cross with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.

Vice President, Chief Financial Officer
Matt Nazzaro joined CTE as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer in April 2016. Prior to joining the company, Matt held leadership roles at GE Capital where he most recently led the Financial Planning and Analysis organization for the Americas Commercial Lending and Leasing division.
After joining GE through the Financial Management Program at GE Plastics, Matt worked on the Corporate Audit Staff and ultimately transitioned into financial services. Over the following 8 years at GE Capital, he held roles of increasing responsibility in FP&A, capital markets, and strategic pricing for the equipment leasing division. As CFO of CTE, Matt is responsible for managing the accounting, credit, FP&A, facilities, fleet, and purchasing functions.
Matt has a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting from Boston University and an MBA in Finance, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer
Jason Williamson joined CTE as Vice President of Marketing for the Carolina Cat Construction Division in 2017 and was promoted to Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for CTE in 2018. Prior to joining the company, Jason held leadership roles at Caterpillar Inc., where he most recently led the North America Industry Sales and Service team for the Building Construction Products division.
Jason joined Caterpillar Inc. as a design engineer in 1996. Over the following 21 years he moved through progressive roles of responsibility in product engineering, marketing and sales.
As CMO of CTE, Jason is responsible for all marketing functions and teams within CTE including marketing strategy, advertising and promotions, marketing research, sales and marketing integration and support and customer insights and experience.
Jason has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University.

Vice President, Chief Information & Technology Officer
Elvis Clemetson joined CTE as Chief Information & Technology Officer (CTO & CIO) in April 2018. He has 20 years’ experience leading global technology teams and delivering accretive business value within several industries. At CTE, he leads the business applications, infrastructure, information security, PMO and digital technology functions.
Prior to joining CTE, he spent five years at SPX FLOW as Global VP of IT, where he led enterprise business transformation programs, and prior to SPX, he spent six years with Citrix Systems Inc., building global ERP, CRM, and Analytics teams and capabilities from the ground up.
Elvis has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Florida Atlantic University and an MBA from the Warrington School of Business at the University of Florida. In addition, he has earned Advanced Certificates in Management and Leadership from MIT’s Sloan School of Management and Project Management from Stanford University. He’s an advocate for knowledge sharing and is a lifelong learner.
